Haven't read all the last few pages, so sorry if this has already been said.....but having been half watching sky sports all afternoon I'm pretty sure they haven't gone to Reading once so obviously no exciting movements there....zzzzzz....please something last minute and exciting!!

As of 5pm, Royals boss Brian McDermott remained in the market for one more signing in this transfer window.
He told TalkSPORT, "I'm still here at the club and waiting on phone calls. We are trying, let's put it that way.
"Normally at this time on deadline day I'm at home! But I'm still here, so that's a positive. We've got something we are trying to do.
"We are waiting on an answer, I'm enjoying it and I would be very excited if we can do this deal."
That's enough for me... I'm off to the mad stad

Bugger, just phoned Dominos and enquired about Firenze. Hold up on the Peruvian Roquito Peppers so they've said they would call back but not sure they could get it done before 11.
I'll just have to sit in and wait now with my fingers crossed. Just got to try not to leave it too late to order a Meatilicious as back up if it all goes wrong.
Would be a real blow and a bit demoralising if I end up with no pizza, though I could always eat the egg off my face and try and make do with what's in the cupboard. Cheese on toast with a slice of ham in it is a bit like pizza and is more the Reading way.

On another note, just read Mag Dog Allen's quote on the BBC website about deadline day. Sums up what a circus today has become.
I know he left under a cloud but he is still blue and white through and through and this made me laugh:

He bakes every day
In chef hat and apron
he's quite the gourmet.
He'll roll out some dough
and he'll give it a toss,
then spread on a generous
topping of sauce.
He'll heap it with cheeses
and mountains of meat,
but, still, it's not something
you'd probably eat.
For though he makes pizza
He's a top manager too,
He tipped Alfie for England,
Nooo Brian, Not Jobi and Legs too!
