Sutekh Wonder if Holmes will attract interest after his decent display at United. Forest again maybe?

Hound Won’t affect this window but checked how Puscas is doing at Genoa. They’ve won 4 of their last 5 and are in second place, 1 point clear of third
Look a good bet for promotion hopefully. Puscas has scored a few inc a 94th minute winner 2 games ago
Be a lovely addition to next seasons pot of money if we can move him on

Fair chance any transfer atm involves Forest. Sounds like they are signing another 3-4 this window and binning off some of their summer signings
Holmes prob our best asset atm, be good to keep him on and hopefully offer him a bit more on his contract from next season

Holmes going for good money, despite being our best CB, wouldn’t be the end of the world, because it would solve the problem of him and McIntyre being too slow to play together effectively and give Tom M more room to progress.
Joao's performance v Utd certainly wouldn't have hurt his chances under the circumstances. No service. Some nice feet. Decent work defensively in our box and chased about defending from the front about the same amount as Carroll.

Hound Noticed it mentioned that Ehibhatiomhan travelled to Utd for the cup game
Honestly think he offers as much as Joao at this point in time and would like to see him given a go, and we could offload Joao
Still think Joao would be a clever signing for a number of teams - surprised there doesn’t appear to be a lot of interest

morganb Another one from Twitter:
Reading are looking at a number of youngsters at Premier League clubs desperate for first-team minutes.

Not sure why as Ince has favoured experience over youth this season, plus we can only have 5 loan players in a match day squad (assuming loan not signings) and a limit of 25 players (though youngsters may not count towards the limit depending on appearances etc)
As it say "first-team minutes" guess they won't be signing for the Academy.

Stranded Already mentioned it but if we have more loans than we can use then it absolutely breeds competition in the squad. No-one wants to be the loanee that doesn't play, so hopefully, you start to see a new level of performance both in training and on the pitch as if you are in, you know you may easily be sat in the stand the following week.
