Wycombe Royal If Long goes in the summer it will be mostly because he WANTS to move to the Premiership, not because we want to sell him. We can only hold him back for so long before needs to move on to further his career. As a club they have to do the right thing by the player as well as the right thing for the club.

Agreed, but if we just miss out IN the play-offs or just miss out on making the top six,
and if Mansett is really looking the business by then, the club MAY be able to persuade
Shane that 2011-2012 we are going for a top-two spot and bringing in X and Y.

Even is he stays that extra season he will only be 25 years four months at the end of it.

What age was Doyle when he went to Wolves?

loyalroyal4life Fair play to QPR, can see them definately going up with the signing they have made

Chimbonda, Routledge and Miller > Morrison, Willams and Manset

And this post before tonights result. it's a case of who want's it and who dosen't. Madejski never want's to enter the Premiership again and for that reason we will only buy players to keep us in the Championship.

Agree, but you could see the class difference in specific individuals from Friday's game namely Routledge and Miller

Couldn't agree more - the difference in class between Colin and Brian was tangible

It's ridiculous to compare us to QPR

They have money have spent fairly heavily in recent years
and they DON'T have the spectre of "what happens if we gamble and run up a debt"

Their owners think 100 Million is pocket money

Brian hasn't managed one full season in the Championship while Colin has managed to win promotion from every division and managed in the Premier League. Quite frankly I'd be stunned if Brian has it all figured out now and in the long run games like this will teach him far more then if we'd drawn 0-0 or got a jammy 1-0 win.

Was Miller the black striker?

he was a real handful and changed the game IMO

In what way did he change the game? We didn't really exert any pressure before or after, while they had only one decent chance and scored while not creating any pressure either.

We were under more pressure dealing with him, took longer dealing with their attacks
while he was playing, probably played a bit more defensively because he was more of a threat

Long gone,

18.2.11

Celtic manager Neil Lennon has admitted that he could make a summer move for Reading's Republic of Ireland striker, Shane Long. (Daily Record)

Well Madejski we haven’t forgotten the £3M IN PROFIT from the at least £7m Siggi sale (£4m we needed to find this season), lets see what bullshit he comes up with in July as to the clubs debt.

Madejski once again con’s the gullible RTG’S.

Madejski reminds me of President Mubarak. ,,,,,,,,,,,You can con some of the people all of the time but not all of the people all of the time.

Shame all his businesses are failing give Mubarak a call and try Pyramid selling Madejski better still lower your price tag and conditions of sale of the club and FECK OFF
