And that has what to do with McDermott possibly going to Wolves?

Snowball Anyone see Kevin Doyle and Shane Long being interviewed on soccer AM?

What a nice pair of blokes. Just thinking how they would now work well
as our front two with Roberts-Hunt as back up

neither will drop a division, or need to. we can't afford neither. stop getting so carried away.

I'm deadly serious. if we go up, they are exactly the right pair. Reasonable money.

If Wolves come down, they will have to get rid of Doyle and or Fletch, surely?

I suspect Fletcher would be sought after by teams futher up the food chain then a newly promoted side; I could see him going to Villa.

Agreed. That's why I think we might go for Doyle.

I think he would suit us.

He's done a good job under difficult circumstances in a team that consistently struggles and doesn't create much in the way of chances.

Not sure he'd be a great buy for us, but he's got plenty to give a decent team that'll be able to create chances.

Doyley is a great work-horse, holds up etc, these days lets some other striker get the glory

He's not that good and he's yet another fullback.

Odds are tumbling.... was 33/1 to start the day on Skybet, was as low as 10/1 now up to 14/1... slightly nervous.

If he does you can't blame him......he said himself on the football league programme that was on sky (Friday) that he doesn't know what the new owners has in-store with regards to management etc......so he probably just wants security (and more money)

The Wolves owners are repeatedly on the record as not wanting a "novice" from the lower leagues to try to save them from relegation. Which I am sure they would view McDermott as in terms of being an experienced PL manager. Which is comforting as a Royals fan. I expect it to be Bruce, I hear he aced an interview with the owners.

but they only want him for the remainder of the season with a view to a perm deal if he keeps them up.........if Bruce doesn't, then he's just put another bad mark on his CV
