Nameless
SCIAG Heard at the match today that the club are not considering Andersen as a potential Federici replacement and we've long known that he wants to be first choice, so I can't see him staying around.

If Federici goes, we're definitely looking at an external replacement initially, so this guy seems a likely signing. First time we'll have signed a goalkeeper to be first choice in over a decade.

Take that with a pinch of salt.

When did we last pay a fee for a keeper ?

Andersen. Thought it might be Gogic but he was unattached.

Never seen the guy play, so no idea if he's as good as the write ups suggest, but I think it's very likely we'll be in the market for a new number 1 this summer and this one ticks a lot of boxes by the sounds of it.

Sutekh Think it was last century  when we paid 250k for Phil Whitehead from WBA

Big fan of Whitehead. Good keeper! Brought some much needed stability and confidence to the back five.

I also enjoyed his preference of wearing the same shorts and socks as the outfielders. A retro feature of the game that I miss!

I know nothing about this guy from Walsall so I have no comment to make on the rumour.

I suppose Wigan would be seen as an advancement on Walsall so can only presume there was no firm interest from anywhere in the Championship.

Season of struggle vs hoping promotion and then established in a decent championship team - I could see that as a point of view, maybe....
