tidus_mi2 Dare I suggest it might just be some random bloke at the hotel?

Some Random Bloke would be amazing though, as long as he's not just on loan.

I think the original plan was to buy rantie but sordel has just been released by burnley and is a cheaper potentially more permanant option

It really was some random guy. John had already left by that point.

Apparently we were also signing him but as Norwich pulled the plug on the Grabban transfer at the last minute it stopped it going through.

Bournemouth sources were saying on Monday that Rantie to RFC looked like a done deal but I suspect he was back up in case we did not get Vydra. Frankly both Vydra and Piazon look like much better options than Rantie.

Looks as though he will be an option for an emergency loan on Sept 9th. Both Reading and Birmingham are front runners.

I personally think the pace of this guy would cause some serious problems in defence for teams

He'd be a decent option, but we'd have to move a few on first. And Samuel deserves a chance to shine too. Perhaps in January, if he's still available and we need a striker.

I only see this one happening if Cox moves out on loan first. He isn't going to get much of a look in once Samuel returns.

Absolutely no point getting another loan signing. Will mean two of them will have to sit out each week.
