muirinhoRoyallyFcukedUpNorth In his best season he managed just six goals - no thanks
He's only ever played in the Premier League so his experience could be valuable, could tear up the Championship as well with the right team around him.
Last player we had that people were confidently predicting would tear up the Championship was Pog. So... I'm out.

Absolutely pointless post seeing as you're talking about the Premier League and he would be coming to play for us in the Championship

No it's not, he goes on to compare the other players' championship records to their time in the premier league. You can extrapolate a rough performance indicator for strikers who played in both divisions. The sample size is too small to take much from it, but the process makes sense and is relevant.

Ian Royal I'm not particularly disagreeing on this occasion, but you don't help yourself with your track record snowball. You've claimed that Long's one good Championship season would make him a 10 goal a season PL player, which he's just achieved (barely) in the last season at the fourth attempt.
PL goalscoring stats are not a particularly good indicator of how someone will do in the Championship. Particularly distinctly average goalscoring stats. You're also well known for cherry picking your sample. To provide any convincing data you'd need a massive selection of players picked without bias. Not your confirmation bias half a dozen or so.
