Agreed re the Yak. Although he stood out for not being able to pass the ball - in contrast, I was impressed at how good the rest of the Barnet side were at moving the ball about on the ground (at least when there were 11 of them). I also liked the Barnet left back Nicolae Nicolau (or whatever).

Underhill's a cracking little ground to go to. Easy tube ride, pub by the ground that you can stay at until 5 mins before kick-off...job done.

LOL @ the Swindon penalties once again.

Nightmare getting back yesterday though, circLOLe LOLine.

Safety first - defending!! Yakubu >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>.Jerel Ifil. He was absolutely embarassing. Heard good things about him, he looked a park player.

Nicolau had an excellent 2nd half. Thought the 2 full backs were weak but got better in fairness and that Akurang is dump, should have had a hatrick. PenaLOLties.

Hmmm - didn't see anything good from the right back. He seemed to want to show the yellow-booted penalty-missing ponce Roberts into the area at every opportunity.

(Northern line for me...home by 1130!)

Northern Line, signaLOL probLOLem at Kennington, meant nay services were going through Kings Cross. Had to go to Euston, walk to Euston Square and get the circle line, back to Padders for 12:05, last train at 12:21

Max Porter wasn't it? Yeah he wasn't very good in all honesty, apparantly he isn't a full back usually, thought it showed.

Enjoyed the atmospher in the terrace as well, althought some twat with a drum was literally right behind us, DUMP. Apart from that excellent. Lower league fans = 8)

Olofinjana could be a punt. Looks good for WolOLves past few seasons. Don't punt for these Barnet players, too inexperienced.

SPECULATION - Olofinjana

by Geekins » 23 Jun 2008 12:27

We've been linked with him in the past, now he's up for sale will we go for him? Will he fit into our team here?

Olofinjana granted move request

Wolves have agreed to a transfer request from Nigerian international midfielder Seyi Olofinjana.

The 28-year-old signed a four-year contract last October, but a clause was inserted which has now been activated.

Wolves chief executive Jez Moxey said: "We agreed that, should the club miss out on promotion, we would circulate his name for transfer if he wished."

Olofinjana signed for Wolves four years ago from Norwegian side Brann Bergen and scored 18 goals in 147 matches.

Moxey added: "As an experienced senior international player who has not only served Wolves well but re-signed instead of holding out to become a free agent this summer, he has given us the opportunity of recouping our financial investment in him to help buy new players."

Would be a good signing, but it won't happen. He's requested the transfer because Wolves didn't get promoted to the Prem, so why would he be interested in us?

Wouldn't say no, but as he's had a clause activated because his club are still in the CCC, what odds on him wanting to move to another CCC club.

I'd be surprised to see him move up a league. Not sure he's of that ilk yet, or if he'll ever be. This level, yes please.

Would all depend on how he see's RFC doing this season. Bookies have us as 2nd favourites for the Championship, so if he believe's we could be a 'shoe-in' for the premier league then he might settle with another year in the CCC. Wolves don't appear to be going anywhere fast and same could apply to us. As things stand at the moment we were a Premier League team and still have many PL players on board. Keep it that way and we could become quite attractive to the likes of Olofinjana

A championship player with lots of experience and a real presence in midfield. Played well against Reading on a few occasions. Oh, I forgot, that was pre 2005 so you wouldn't know.....
