Mr Angry I'm not unhappy that we didn't get the guy (if we were even genuinely after him of course) for the following reasons;
1. He has one decent season with a League 1 side, no guarantee that he will be good enough at the next level.
2. He has had by the sound of it a very serious knee injury; may take time to recover and then always be vulnerable to it going again.
3. Attitude - the Carlisle chairman made it clear that THEY didn't tell Forest of the clause in the lads' contract, making it clear that the player (through his agent) did. That doesn't auger well if he has a goodish season at Forest, as it implies he will be agitating for a move away as soon as possible.
Once he has scored 25 goals as Forest storm to the Championship title next season, please feel free to regurgitate this post!!
