Blue and White Toucan TBF he is only 2cm small.

And being a 'WINGER' (remember that position, get ball, run as fast as you can, keep ball, beat players, cross) he doesn't need to be tall.

.

But surely, we'd want someone taller than 2cm, even as a winger???????!!!!!

Well Kebe is 6 ft, but most of the fans don't seem to want to give him a chance.

Typical Reading fans...1 game in and they are already saying he is crap.

Even when he looked our most threatning player.

I suppose most fans are just happier when they are moaning, i'm just worried Kebe'll become a boo-boy for the fans, which would be completely undeserved.

I'm basing my opinion on more than 1 appearance and would strongly disagree he looked our most threatening player.

Will be more than happy for him to show he's good enough, I just think the chances are rather small.

Reading to Stoch up on Chelsea talent?
Rumours courtesy of Reading’s ‘Hob Nob Anyone’ forums suggest Miroslav Stoch might be heading on loan to the Madejski Stadium in the very near future. The link comes from former Reading player and Academy Director, and current Chelsea Reserve Team Manager Brendan Rodgers, who still maintains good contact with his former club.

Miro has been in superb form in pre-season, scoring at Aldershot and a stunning free kick at Torquay before notching a cracker in Slovenia in the 3-2 defeat to NK Maribor. Not only has he been finding the net with his usual regularity, he’s been the best player wearing blue and continues to show his dynamic game-changing ability, worrying opponents every time he has the ball.

A loan to Reading would be very interesting. The Royals have had a quiet summer on the ‘transfers in’ front since their relegation from the Premiership, only bringing in Noel Hunt (brother of Stephen, ever popular amongst Chelsea fans) from Dundee United. Meanwhile, they have sold Dave Kitson, Nicky Shorey, and perhaps most importantly Glen Little, leaving them with very few options on the wing. During Sunday’s 0-0 draw at Nottingham Forest they played Bobby Convey and Jimmy Kebe in the wide positions, Convey perhaps being more at home in the centre of the pitch whilst Kebe is yet to prove himself in the blue and white of Reading.

Championship football would be very beneficial to Miro, who turns 19 in October, and the chance to play for a team who aim to be fighting for a place in the top six is a massive one, should the rumours be true. He’s excelled at every level Chelsea have thrown at him to date, and has stepped up to Slovakia’s Under 21 team. Is Reading his next stop?

Any further news on this, or any other loan deals for Chelsea’s youngsters, will naturally be found on this blog.

If we'd played Bas Savage out on the right he'd have looked like our most threatening player.

To be fair to Kes, he has named his source; I can't recall many/any other posters who have been prepared to do that in the past with their rumours etc.

If it happens (and if it doesn't that doesn't mean it was never going to happen) then I think its a good thing - for a start, it brings in new blood and freshens the squad up, and creates competition for places.

Looking at a bigger picture, i think its good if RFC maintain good working relationships with clubs like Arsenal, Spurs and Chelsea (especially now Moanrinho and Grant have gone) which can be of benefit to us in the future.

I had a perusal of that portal and thought it was pretty good, given the subject matter. One like that for our reserves would be an fantastic for me.

The site claims the rumour seemed to originate here, so it's not it doesn't make it any more real? This is Kes we're talking about.

Chelsea are very keen to get Stoch out on loan and I was told Reading are ideal for him as it's only down the road. He's played reserve football for a while now and they want him to get more first team experience. He's a very, very good player and will benefit Readings team. He's technically gifted, something that Reading are lacking.

He was pretty good against Reading reserves last season I recall.

Agreed it doesn't add any substance to the rumour, but it's not a bad bit of insight into the player, and the author is certainly not all wrong about our team.

For me, van Aanholt looked the more interesting prospect. Will be 18 this month, plays LB or CB and reckoned to be ahead of Bertrand.

Must be worth a punt.

I'd rather have Sergio Tejera or Gael Kakuta. Or is it Gakuta.
