Harsh on Sidwell Brenders. Of anyone who has let his contract run down Sidwell did his best inthe circumstances. Could ask for no ore than that. Shorey is more on the money.

The Chronicle says the club confirmed we were talking to a PREMIERSHIP club about an experienced Premiership player.

I suspect Brian is happy with the strikers. He will look at the goals scored as there not being a problem up front.

It will either be an attacking midfielder (which I doubt now we have bought two midfielders already) or a defender (Upson was enquired about in December).

I've heard rumours of Baird; would be an excellent signing. Experience, recent good form with Fulham. Can shore up RB, or CM is Carrico and Akman don't step up. Probably not break the bank wages; should we go down he won't leave and will be a quality player down there.
