Season will be officially over if we sell McCleary. Take him out of the side and we are nothing. I guess funds are that desperate. It has to be a huge deal to sell now!

What a shame that Madejski's wallet isn't the same as his mouth - large and opened frequently.

Suspect he will stay in hiding for a while now in the hope that no nasty media people will be able to ask him about the assurances he gave about transfer funds being made available to Adkins this window.

Shouldn't make commitments that he is not prepared/able to deliver on.

Due to the Takeover fiasco and comments regarding our lack of funds, we are now a club to be plundered for what talent we have!

Can't imagine we'd accept anything other than silly money as 51% will end up in Moscow.

However it is the 51% in Moscow that makes the decision.

Well, if that comforts you great, but it is Anton`s decision. He wants out and will take back as much cash as he can. Any serious bid ALF will be accepted

:| Which would seriously devalue the squad, the club's chances in the division and require greater investment in new players from any new owners. Thus reducing what he can get in a takeover. Totally counter-productive.

I think you are getting a bit carried away, and in fact quite wrong. a few million in the bank is worth a player worth a few million. If there is a bid and it is decent in size he will be sold.

Not to mention that Anton is over in Russia and clearly not involving himself in the day to day running of the club right now. Basically, what you've said is nonsense and ALF will still be a Reading player come 11.01pm tonight.

There are such things as phones and emails to contact Anton, likewise they would probably go through Samuelson if a serious bid came in.

I do however think he will still be a Reading player after the deadline
