TBMEsteban Set to sign a pre-contract deal with Forest, according to BBC Sport.

They can't do that until 3 months before his contract is up. So basically he'll be sat in Hull Reserves for the rest of the season

1871 not 1998 The player seems, or so we're told, to want to stay at Forest. So perhaps he didn't get an injury at all and it was pre-planned to delay his being called back.
Another way of looking at it is Reading agree with Hull to make an offer they have no intention to see through, Forest match said offer, Hull use that money to fund Shane Long's transfer, and Reading get their sell-on...

Someone in the office just said the very same thing. Plausible I suppose.

Terminal BoardomCypryloyalroyal4life Anyone think this may be a move on part of club to show the fans we are 'active'?
Calculated move in that we never really expected to get him and forest had him all along?
What, so we told Bruce to go public with our bid?
Do behave....why is it some will try every angle to discredit the club? Loyal my arse.....
To be fair to LR4L, he /she may have a point. Lets look at some facts...
The fans are pissed off with the way the AZ takeover has gone tits up
The football has been generally shit
The Manager isn't universally popular
What better way to get fans onside but to go public on a deal that just might not come off?

Is a "gazump" coming Forest's way as the deal is never done until the paperwork is signed???
