And one potential surprise signing is that young central midfielder Jamie Hinton is to be offered a contract after impressing on trial.

Why don't you make up a completely bollocks story about a made up footballer (call him Carlos Kickaball) from Paraguay or some non-entity of a footballing backwater country that Wet Sham want to buy for £35 millon.

Would they swallow that?

Sent one in changed a few things like spelling of the name and the price tag (still kept it high) they may buy it but they might not.

I've put one in about Shorey having handed in a transfer request hours before playing against Brazil and West Ham interested in paying £6 million for him. QPR youngster Trevor Absolom has impressed and Reading may make an offer thought to be in excess of £1 million for the talented striker. Neil Warnock set to sign as Manager of Partick Thistle in next few days.

With Reading trying to secure Nicky Shorey's long term future expect bids by clubs such as Newcastle, Everton and Aston Villa for the England left back in order to open more options up to him.

Reading midfielder James Harper has emerged as a potential signing for Aston Villa, following his good first season in the Premiership.

Reading full back John Halls will join Derby for £2m.

Reading winger John Oster is a target for LA Galaxy

Turkish side Fenerbache have offered Reading £4.7m for winger Seol Ki–Hyeon. -ok im a seol fan, but jesus, snap their ruddy hand off

Hayden Mullins had talks with Reading last Thursday BUT doent really want to sign for his hometown team as he believes we will be relegated next season, despite the fact Charlton are the only other interested club and Reading have offered him much higher wages – this looks to be the only reason he would sign.

Spurs are also lining up swoops for Jason Koumas £5m, Zoltan Gera £4m and Curtis Davies £7m all from West Brom as well as Nicky Shorey £4m from Reading

The Shorey rumours are spectacular. Let me see. Spurs pay (over the top IMO) for Gareth Bale, then want to splash another £4m on the same position. At least make the rumours vaguely viable.

Aren't the Galaxy bringing in another midfielder to play on the right?

Glad you're enjoying yourself. The problem is that site was set up for proper rumours to go on and for fans to see who their club might be targeting, but people like you (I know there are loads of people, not just you) just out for a laugh have spoilt it.

Much in the way that Chelski have brought in ready made replacements for the African Nations Cup, this could be the formation of an alternate plan for the missing Beckham during international call-ups - although what LAG will do when Tosh suddenly realises that Oyster is welsh is anybodies guess.

I'm currently running an experiment. I've started a rumour in a few places and I'll see how long it takes to appear in the EP and nationals.

The football season is over, im full of boredom, that site is just calling out for people to make stuff up and put it on, lots of stuff doesn't get on anyway, they only put it on if they think it has a possibility of happening, its not as if me, or any others are ruining it at all, just adding to the crap already on there.

I've done a bit of research on this site, and contrary to the news reports Steve Sidwell has 100% signed for :

Newcastle
Aston Villa
Celtic
Man City
Arsena
Everton
Tottenham
Rangers
Man Utd
Sunderland (and they weren't even promoted at the time)

Apparently, at least four of these had pre-contracts signed. Must keep the lawyers in business breaking all those contracts.

Cloning seems to be all the rage - maybe we should have kept one of the clones for ourselves.

To all those 'in the know' - you're not

I've put a rumour on that Thierry Henry will join Reading after being persuaded by ex-Gunner James Harper. Let's see if it gets posted

I'm a mate of one of the Palace players and he's confided to me that Clinton Morrison is having talks with Reading about moving there for £3.5 million.

Shirley he meant £3.50?
