Absolutely. He is to have a medical in the morning.

He has not been paid. wonder if he regrets his decision to go there. I predict Yes.

Struggling Premiership team vs strugling Championship team... I'm sure he's full or regret.

yeh but he would have been scoring goals and playing under a manager he admires, and playing for a club that is trying to move forward, not get relegated(portsmouth) also, we would probably pay his wages..

Hmmm....

That struggling Premiership team has 0 points.

And that struggling Championship team has 10 points.

Wonder which he'll think has a better chance of survival?

Either way, Prem this season > Championship next season.

He'll get paid eventually and I'm sure he's not bobbing along the bread line.

Horrendous post, you are quickly becoming the laughing stock of the board.

Pompey > Reading in just about every way possible.

I disagree with all of them - financially pompey will be fine within the next few weeks, once the arab is allowed to invest properly.

Training ground is a training ground, who cares?

Smith has been playing for pompey and played well at wolves.

And assuming he does actually have the money to invest ....

No idea why everyone thinks he's a crook tbh. Not sure he's officially fully in control of the club yet.

He might not be a crook but he hasn't got enough money to do much to help Pompey, there seems little doubt about that.

I have heard differently. Apparently he doesn't officially own the club yet and can't put money in for four weeks due to some sort of FA regulations. Something I heard at the game on saturday. It could be rubbish but there is little reason for it to be made up tbh. We'll wait and see.
