Glad you're enjoying yourself. The problem is that site was set up for proper rumours to go on and for fans to see who their club might be targeting, but people like you (I know there are loads of people, not just you) just out for a laugh have spoilt it.

with Ole injured again don't rule out the snap up of Kevin Doyle from Reading or with a Smith sale the purchase of Huntelaar.

Hayden Mullins looks set for Reading

Reading ARE preparing for life without Leroy Lita and Seol Ki–Hyeon after Reading recieved a number of bids for the pair, after it was announced that they are unsettled and want to play for bigger clubs.
A host of Premiership clubs are interested in Lita including Derby, Birmingham, Aston Villa, Bolton, Wigan and West Ham. Reading will not sell the midfielder for any less than £4million, but he hopes to recieve his request of £6.5million.
Seol on the otherhand is attracting a lot of attention from abroad, Sydney FC, Espanyol, Osasuna, Udinese and Fiorentina are all keeping tabs on him, whereas Wolves and Hearts are the only interested British clubs.

Some of those clubs may be bigger, but certainly are no more likely than us to be challenging towards the top of the table. And Midfielder?! Surely if you're going to make something up you should at least know what you're talking about otherwise whats the point.

About as convincing as Tom Cruise saying he isn't gay.

I'm never sure what the intention is when people invent patently untrue rumours ?

Are they supposed to 'trick' people, or be funny ? Or is there another purpose.

I think they just want to see how far the rumour will spread. If the press pick one up it up it could go worldwide.

Think of it as being like a balloon race....

As Mr Angry and I were discussing on the way up to Wigan - any "decent" rumour will generally spread like wildfire. To test this theory, he posted one about Doyle going to Villa for 5 million and sure enough it was picked up by various websites and some newspapers.

It's nothing more than lazy journalism IMO.

I'm amazed at just how many times we're mentioned here - compared to the old days.

Just on the first page :

although with Ole injured again don't rule out the snap up of Kevin Doyle from Reading

I'm a mate of one of the Palace players and he's confided to me that Clinton Morrison is having talks with Reading about moving there for £3.5 million.

West Ham will begin an exodus by potentially selling both Nigel Reo Coker and Anton Ferdinand to Aston Villa, whilst Hayden Mullins looks set for Reading

Royals to sign Jason Koumas. I'm WBA fan and heard from my father. Very sad rumours at WBA.

That's in addition to those already posted.

the obvious midfielder reference has been noted already

but since when have players requested that a potential transfer is for £x+

and why? surely it would be better for a low transfer, big signing on fees?

Heres Today's:

READING will sign Cole Skuse from Bristol City for one million pounds. The deal is done and the 21 year old with have a medical at the Madejski Stadium next week.

Reading have agreed a fee with West Bromich Albion for attacking midfielder Jason Koumas. Reading were also knocked back with a bid for striker Diomansi Kamara. Rumours are rife that Steve Coppell will try and lure Robbie Fowler on a 20k a week plus pay as you play 3 year deal.

Man United will more than liekly sell Louis Saha to Lyon for 7–8m and will use the Funds to sign in Kevin Doyle (Man United fan) from Reading for around 6m

John Oster looks set to Join Crystal Palace after talks between the two have gone well. Osters first team chances have been minimal so although he didn't really want to leave Reading he feels the move is right for his career and has always admired Peter Taylor as a manager.

Stephen Hunts future at Reading looks in doubt as contract talks seem to have fallen through. Hunt is unhappy about being one of the lowest payed members of the squad and now looks set to leave in the summer. Charlton and West Brom are both interested

As a West Brom fan, I have been deeply saddened to hear that Jason Koumas is going to Reading.

Reading's Seol Ki–Hyeon looks set to move abroad this summer. His high work–rate has attracted interest from Sampdoria and Lille.

Reading fans are tired of the lazy whinging little runt Soel Ki–Hyeon, or to the locals, Sulky Hyeon.
He cost a potential £1.5m and you get maybe one good game in 5 out of him, if that!
Please approach the club with all offers. I'm currently in the process of offering him to former Royals coach Martin 'Mad Dog' Allen for fiver pound and a packet of frazzles. He in tern told me to get knotted, in a matter of words.
The only person that rates this lazy lump highly is Sulky himself.
Cheerio loser

Sounds like this person may actually have known something - what were they doing on that web-site (or was it just recycled paper talk)?
