Lot of media chat about Owen wanting to leave Stoke...

Gather he hasn't been fit for much of his time there. Tbh I see his next move as being retirement, he's been growing his financial interest in the racing industry, and I can't see him getting a contract at a bigger club than Stoke.

Don't see why he'd leave there to join Reading though, unless he's fit and Pulis isn't considering him.

Heard from a mate of mine weeks ago who has horses with Michael's trainer that Michael said he doesn't expect to play again.
It was straight from the horse's mouth as they say during a pre-Christmas owners' dinner in Chester.
BTW Mrs Owen is still very fit according to my source.
