I have a baked bean for sale for 4m. That means it is worth 4m.

You say it’s worth 1p.

It isn’t. It’s worth 4m.

You offer me £1 for it.

It’s worth 4m, so I say “wtf? It’s worth 4m you f/cking Digdug.”

You offer me £2 for it.

It’s worth 4m, but I hate you and want you to go away so I say “Ok, give us £2 you Repton sh/thead.”

It’s now worth £2 until you revalue it, sell it, or eat it in which case it would be worth nothing because your insides are the devaluing equivalent of a paedophile rehabilitation centre being erected next to your house.

Does the baked bean have any debt?

Will someone with half a clue please tell me what the chances, Rougometer style if you will, of Reading signing this player are. On that basis I will know whether or not to keep returning to this ridiculous, baked bean valuing thread...

Thanks

2m f/cking quid for a baked bean? I'll take it, and you can keep the broad bean.

Everton have agreed a fee with 'Lillestrøm SK' believed to be around £4m for Icelandic striker, Bjorn Bergmann Sigurdarson. Sigurdarson is expected to sign a 4 year deal by the end of next week subject to a medical.

Let's see if this rumour carries through....

Ooooh so he's worth what now? I want to hear melonhead say it. Say it over his shoulder, looking back at me, face contorted in a mixture of pain and bliss.

SSN are now reporting that Wolves have agreed a deal for BBS.

It will be interesting to see whether or not he is willing to wait it out to see if an offer comes in from the Prem or not.

The Wolves manager is a big pull for him. It doesn't sound like we are prepared to meet Lillestrøm's valuation (today's GetReading report supports this), and Everton were also scared off by the fee.

Let's hope that the getreading report indications don't become too overly common practice this summer....or else it could be looking for scraps come the end of the summer...and it's a long time until January.....

If this is correct, then Wolves may have just bagged Sigurdason for as little as £1.5m-£2m. Just 500k to £1m more than we opened the bidding with (plus add-ons).

Martin Swain (Chief sports writer for Star and Express) says a deal is still some way off. Cardiff are also rumoured to be back in the game.
