Oilroyal
The Informant Another gr8 suggestion by oilroyal

He's a disruptive influence and is the exact opposite of what we're looking for. He can only play up top in a two for a start.

Who else would you have oilface?

finished watching your porn informant

I suggested McCormack a few pages back but typically no one bothered to respond. I'd definitely take him.

What about Daryl Murphy? Newcastle won't need him now

With Yann + Jon Dadi, think we have enough in the target man department.

Think we need to add some pace up top.

A solid Champ player, maybe not the player to take us to the next level though.

thought that Joao bloke at Sheff Weds looked ok, again in the JDB/Mendes mould

doubt they'd sell him to us for anything reasonable though, despite having about 20 strikers on their books

McCormack - serious attitude problems

Murphy - 34 years old so we'd be eying up his replacement in a year.

Just seen Ashley Cole linked to Birmingham. I couldn't even begin to imagine my excitement if he came to us. Might even have to stoop as low as a home shirt with his name on the back...

Reading need a look at Romario Williams. Should be well within budget. Jamaican international striker so he's already had some time around McCleary. He's under contract with Atlanta United (MLS) but on loan to Charleston Battery where he's leading USL (2nd div) in goals (14 in 15 games). Good size and speed. He played college soccer in Florida so he's only played 2 years pro at 22. Reggae Boyz have done well for Reading in recent years.

So you're familiar with him? Scoff at a Jamaican striker all you want, but remember that Jobi, Mapps, Hector and McCleary all had pretty good runs at Reading. He's a big 22-year-old with legs that can find the net and could be had on a budget, but I guess Reading couldn't use one of those. Sorry I brought him up. Continue to wax poetic about 35-year-old strikers with lengthy lower division resumes. Carry on.
