Swindon fans were unhappy with Austin yesterday. General view is he has gone off the boil because of the speculation.

Eddie Howe had him on trial at Bournemouth early on last season but they couldn't come up with the money so it would be no surprise if he joined up again with Eddie Howe.

On the local BBC news this evening they were reporting that he would be leaving and it looks like he'll be going to Reading. I'd be surprised if thats the case but maybe they've decided to pay up what Swindon were after.

Maybe they've agreed a double signing from Swindon and thats why nothing was announced today about Morrison. Personally I'm not a fan of Austin, I think he''d be abit lightweight in this league but it would please alot of the fans if the club have splashed out.

Well the thread starter seems certain it's Reading he's going too and the delay in signing Morrison could be to tie them both down at the same time with "Church and HRK" going the other way.

I'd take that!

Well, if Church and HRK went the other way, it would explain the purchase of two strikers rather than one, but i'd feel we needed a Left Midfielder...... HRK is the only left footed player we have to play wide left and that does worry me slightly. But im doing some undercover work, signed up for the stfc boards to ask the poster some much needed questions, anyone got anything they want me to ask?
