Nameless That's a terrible analysis.
For one thing both Fae and Halford were much, much worse signings if you want to invent some kind of artificial value for money measurement. At least we did manage to recover the fees we spent on them !

Care to explain why? Or do you just disagree with everything without offering a reason as to why?

Yeah Fae and Halford were poor signings but both were in and out fairly quickly. We have spent a lot more on Pog overall than either of those two anyway and you just said it yourself at least we recoved the fees spent on them whereas Pog has absolutely no sell value and will leave on a free at the end of the season.

Pretty obviously (again) you are wrong. I tend to massively over explain my thinking. It's probably why no one ever reads my posts. In this instance there seems little point. You just hate Pog, to just claim he is rubbish at everything is obviously wrong. There's no need to give reasons why you are wrong, it's obvious to anyone who watches us. I can only assume Pog once pushed in front of you In a supermarket queue.

if a record signing is in and out quickly then that kind of confirms they were a terrible signing. Neither contributed a single positive thing to the club whereas Pog is a decent player, just not the star we had hoped he would turn out to play.

You really need to remove those blinkers.

LOL. More likely that no one reads your posts because your boring, contrary and you talk a load of shit.

I didn't say Pog is rubbish at everything, but yeah its true he is fairly poor at most things on a football pitch. In fairness to him he can occasionally show a nice touch, flick or lay off and is sometimes a good header of the ball (on some of the rare occasions he manages to win it).

I can only assume you don't watch us play along with the minority of our fans that still try and convince themselves that Pog is a decent player. I can't understand how anyone who has seen him play a few times or more can come away think he is anything other than crap and a big let down.

We all know the only reason he is still here is because he isnt good enough for anyone to want to buy him and even if they did he could never get a better contract anywhere else so he would never leave. He would have been out the door after the first season had we been able to get rid.

Remove your own blinkers you absolute bellend. You're sticking up for him because he still plays for us, that's up to you. But don't try and tell me I'm wrong when I've seen the guy play enough times. I am brutally honest when assessing our players unlike most of our fans. I don't hate Pog, he's just a shit footballer.

I'll let the clueless and retarded nameless, who clearly only started watching football at a recent world cup judging by some of his posts, argue the pros and cons and value for money of the pog for the hundereth time. I'd rather deliver news on direct relation to this thread.

St Etienne have signed two strikers today. Neither is Beric

Nameless is pretty good value tbf. And it's not like I'm just saying that because we always agree, we regularly differ.

If Rapid make the Champions League group stages, he won't go anywhere. But if they don't, then maybe Beric will think doubling his wages is worth a step down and might push for a move.

I doubt he'll join us, but I have a hunch we'll be active at the end of the window and you never know...

CW is insinuating this could be back on the cards. if this happens it could be a massive signing. to exciting to contemplate reading doesn't make signings like this.

"Could be" he said, before reverting to type and saying he doesn't talk about transfers. #readingfc

Sasima let slip yesterday that one the Thai's advisers was in Vienna, I put that to SC and asked if Beric was still an option. #readingfc

Anyone old enough to remember Ultravox and Midge Ure would also remember that Mr Rigsby's cat was called Vienna too.

I will jizz everywhere and donate £20 to charity if we sign Robert Beric. (Not in the same timeframe)
