Tamworth_Royal I’m quite pleased with the signing of Manset who I think can make an immediate impact.

Brett Williams……. could be a Doyle, Mooney, Long or Hartenberger who knows.

But there are a couple of things that bother me about this week’s signings……..

1. No mention of the push to the Premiership by the Madejski or anyone else on the offical website announcing the signing of Manset ?.

2, Two strikers in a week ????? In the January transfer window? this is Reading after all .

McD has said we don’t have to sell and we don’t want too, but has the Mad Man echoed those words?.

My problem is that knowing Madejski he will allow Long to go and these signings are designed to appease the fans ahead of the big letdown.

Watch this space, Madejski has a cunning plan and this is the first part of it.

Posted in January this year, 7 months later £10m(Undisclosed lol) in player sales and a good FA cup run and play off final........

to quote Madejski this week August 2011

Will there be money to spend?
I don’t know where you’re going to find this money from? We have budgets that we work to and there is a bit of scope to do some more deals before August 31.

Is the club breaking even at the moment?
It’s difficult to say right now because we’re in the middle of things, so I can’t say whether it is or not. I would be very surprised if it is quite honestly.

Does this all go back to wages being too high?
Everyone knows that footballers are paid an extraordinary amount of money, which is not composite with what we have got. That’s why football is struggling.

Not just in this division, but in the Premier League and everywhere else. It’s a fact of life now and I’m sure that is going to change.

We can’t wait until they bring in the football fair-play rules as we decided on in the last conference. We just try to do the best we can and that is what we do.

We have some very good people here struggling to make it work and square the rubican, but there is no fat on the bone.

Well who the feck are they NigeLOL Howe and the David Blunkitt accountancy company?????

Sept 10 Black hole £4M = Sigi Sold CASH £7M, Cup run, Play offs what £2M, Mills, long sold what say £8M-£10M yet again Madejski treats the fans like they are stupid ( Oh I get it now .......... RTG's )

Oh well carry on as normal then.

Although we know that there are debts and costs to manage and maintain the club, when the club bandies a 4 Million deficit, and then they receive approx 8 Million in selling arguably the 2 most influential players in the team - us fans have a right to question "where has the money gone?"

The team morale seems to be in tatters. The players are probably thinking - why should we bother when the team will be dismantled anyway. I know that this is a part of football, but when you get to the play-off final, you should be aiming to beat that the next season, not go completely backwards.

I do not want the club to break the bank. I do not want the club to spend needless amounts of money. I do want the club to replace players they sell, obviously not with the same amount of quality as Long, but someone from the lower leagues, ready to take the step up...

I am not a STG, neither an RTG. I am just a fan who is starting to get sick and tired of the 3rd Reich propaganda the club is spouting, If we are losing 8 million a year - "Well Run Club" my ass, and when the Long's and Sigurdsson's stop blooming, we are in for a long few years... BMD should start Obita, get him in the shop window to cover next years 8 million deficit.

The US? I mean it isn't like the team hasn't looked here in the past...

Brek Shea, a 20 year-old 6' 3" winger/striker, from FC Dallas of the MLS. He is big, fast and athletic and appears to have a good skill set. Check out his delivery on this USMNT goal, Rogers scored it but it was a tap in all because of Shea's work and great service. The bad news is rumor has it he has already attracted the attention of multiple premier league teams. But why sit on the bench for some premier league team when he could be getting his feet wet in English football here?
