He's definitely a better player than any striker in our squad and a good age for a loan, but how would be adapt to our direct style of play?

Think he'd adapt pretty well tbf. Runs the channels, decent height, good jump, and looked excellent in Hodgson's England.

the bloke is good enough and quick enough to create and scroe chances all by himself
secondly he is great at holding the ball up and bringing others into the game, which will in turn create more chances



im very doubtful united will let him go, but tbf they have 3 great strikers, and ferguson may just decide it would be better for welbeck to play every game for the rest of the season than sit on their bench
