Shane Long goes for a very low fee apparently. Good thing we didn't want him or need him. Ha-HA!

Royalclapper
SCIAG
Royalclapper Russian (who are notoriously unreliable)

And we paid £2m+ for a black defender, even though everyone knows they're not smart enough for that

Wtf? Talking about Russian football players who are signed by Premier League teams - which one's that have signed for clubs here haven't been unreliable?

You can't judge a person based on the abilities of other people from their country you numpty. Otherwise we'd never have signed McAnuff or Mariappa because Omar Daley was terrible, and we'd have just signed Trinbagonian goalkeepers for the past decade.

(Kanchelskis, Zhirkov, Arshavin was great for 18 months, Pogrebnyak... so that leaves Pavyluchenko who fell out with Redknapp, and Smertin :|)

FridaysGhost Shane Long goes for a very low fee apparently. Good thing we didn't want him or need him. Ha-HA!

Never talk about football again. It's not rocket science but you don't understand it. Let other people make your decisions for you.

(Long doesn't want to play in the Championship)

Good man, have no clue what you said but, in a few years, you will be able to speak English.
About 20 years after that, you will be able talk about RFC sensibly, we are all waiting for that!

although replying to anything on this twilight zone (or given FG's age, just Twilight) of a thread feels allot like a whoosh, Hull (a PL club) signed Long for 5m.

You utter utter bellend.

Reads like a lot of frenzied despair by people who are upset that Reading were unable to sort out deals. Hammond's fault? Chairman's fault? Maybe the despair is caused by the supporters for expecting far too much and putting out silly posts on HNA. With so many rumours we were only ever going to disappoint ourselves. Let's get excited by the possibility of a good loan signing.... Then something at Christmas, then next year's summer market. I'm going to sit back and support the team we have. BM did a lot with not much. Made it all the sweeter. NA has, in my opinion, a better team without any signings today, and a better style of playing.

But the club raised expectations by saying we were looking at 7 signings and we have only made 3 so far (re-signing Pearce does not count in my book) and we had 10 first teamers out. No wonder fans are disappointed.
