maffff You'd expect Stam to know defenders.
If he's happy, fine.
So if he thinks the player is either what we need for now, or has flaws that can be easily tweaked, I'm fine with him not being signed.

MoorgateRoyal I imagine this is simply a case of a player coming in on trial, and not being what the manager and coaching team think we need once they see him at close quarters.
Or, he may still be in Jaap's thoughts and the ITK tips are inaccurate (heaven forbid).
