So, to whom would you look to replace David Kitson?

No-one, I fully expect the club to announce they are happy with three strikers as this will allow Hal Robson-Kanu to pick up more experience.

Surely the answer is staring everyone in the face.

Yep, Mifsud would be a decent start.

...one year left on contract, reasonably priced I guess, proven at CCC level, I'd be happy with that!

On the basis that we don't have anyone who can cross a ball, 'little' might not be a problem? ;)

14 goals in 60 league appearances for Coventry. Not very good.

Would i be right in saying that most of them, around 9 were in a spurt at the start of last season?

I think that is right, he scored on the last day of the season but his last league goal before then was back at the start of December.

He'd fit right in at Reading then

Coppell ruled out a move for him in the past.

We had a look at him when he was on a freebie and didn't take it any further because they didn't think he was better than what we had.

Doesn't mean we wouldn't go back perhaps, but I'd be surprised.

He's not a replacement for Kitson anyway.

Didn't he spend a lot of last season playing on the right wing?

Yep, another reason he would fit right in here. Reading loves a striker that can play right wing (Forster, Cureton, Doyle). Anyway, looks like he's off to Bristol.

Would explain his goal tally though.

Looks off to Bristol but can't say I'd cry myself to sleep if we didn't sign him but wouldn't be unhappy if we did.

I'd be happier with Noel Hunt signing.
