Royal Lady Well, their transfer clock is ticking down to 5 pm tomorrow, so I'd doubt it.

Well they also showed us one place above the relegation zone after the P'boro result, so...

Yet you choose to trust them when they apparently say that the window shuts at 6pm...

Make your "mind" up.

I hadn't seen anywhere else when the window shuts, and something like that they really should get right ffs.

No, not on this occasion. Also when they were discussing us going 2-1 up at the weekend, BEDNAR came up alongside Hunt's name as the goalscorer. Not mistaken, they just seem to make a stupid amount of mistakes.

And again, if you know they are making a lot of mistakes, why pull up another nobber without checking first? :?

Most often, less is more. Why not try it?

From today's Sheffield Star....

Sources close to United's Brian Howard claim the former Barnsley midfielder will sign for Championship rivals Reading on loan today.

Howard, who cost United £500,000 from their South Yorkshire neighbours, was initially offered as a makeweight in a swap deal with Reading midfielder James Harper.

But Howard is understood to have travelled to the Madjeski Stadium this morning, to finalise the terms of his reported 12-month loan deal.

I would imagine season long, rather year long.

I can see Harps going on loan somewhere once his fitness 'issues' are ironed out, maybe the other way with a view to making it a permanent swap?

Would be a good move. Hopefully a clause in the loan that he can sign permanently as well.

I hope it turns out to be good move.

Since his glory days with Barnsley, Howard has not done much with the Blades. Seen as yesterday's man up here.

Only on loan so we can always send him back if it does not work out.

Yep,

Initial Loan move agreed (according to a staffer on the Sheffield Star newspaper who is compiling the web sports copy)with an option on a permanent deal. Looks like a good move for us. Harper's future still undecided though!

Surely loan moves can happen outside of window, so no rush?
