Arch The Lakers, the Kings and the Galaxy! This is a big time organization. I had to laugh at "Major League LAcrosse", though. That takes a bit of the gloss of their holdings.

I think I saw some Lacrosse on Parkers Piece in Cambridge a while back. Looked proper hardcore and crunching.

It's definitely a hardcore game. I used to watch regularly when I was a grad student at the University of Massachusetts. They had a top college team. It was the "major league" bit that I was giggling at.

I'd laugh but "Premier League" and "championship" are basically the same shit.

Strange that these rumours have started and that Coppell has been making hints at all this big spending in January

Persistant little bugger this one:

"Reading FC: I have it on very good authority that the Reading Chairman John Madejski is weighing up a takeover offer from American Philip Anschutz. There are at least two other rival parties interested (I do not know who they are yet) but Anschutz's is the only formal offer."

there was an American Business man on SSN today who was mega rich and claimed he was in the process of buying an unnamed premiership team which had good prospects. he would not let anything slip on the team but did say it had nothing to do with the 9 premeirship clubs owned in foriegn hands. so that only leaves 11, of whom....

Newcastle wouldnt sell up as MIke Ashley is having too much fun
Wigan wouldnt sell up
Derby are shite
Boro chairman wouldnt let go
Not rich enough for Arsenal's pockets

so in all good prospects, im hoping its the same guy already mentioned within this forum
