Representatives of Celtic and Gary Hooper have to in dicussion with Reading agree an £8Million move to Berkshire. Deal could be completed as early as by next week. Royals will unveil Hooper and Drenthe as players at same time

Ex-Real Madrid star Royston Drenthe pens a three-year deal with Reading having agreed personal terms. Nigel Adkins could now follow that up with a jaw-dropping swoop for £8 million-rated Celtic striker Gary Hooper. The local paper understands Hooper met with Reading's representatives earlier this week with a view to making a big-money switch to Madejski Stadium. Hot wax and photo shoot for one previous poster on here!
Drenthe yeah looks like it, Hooper not a chance.
Why is there not a chance of him coming to Reading? Drenthe coming to Reading is much more left-field and out of the blue than Hooper. Plus there won't be many teams dishing out £8million for him. Reading can afford to, 1) because we have the money and 2) because so far our other two signings have been free.
Actually the hooper deal is very much on!
