grey_squirrel Gylfi would have been a McDermott (re)signing.

Adkins will want to break from the past and do his own thing/signings.

Gylfi will not be coming back.

Have you heard this directly from the club?

Because I have a mate who went to Southampton Uni and he knows Adkins, and he says Adkins IS interested in Gylfi. Not saying this is gonna happen but Adkins DOES like Sig and DOES want him back. Now we'll see whether Anton is serious or not. Also Gylfi IS interested in coming back.

Ah...a bloke down the pub...

No, no, no! A Mate of the bloke down the Pub.

I have a mate who went to Uni in southampton and Adkins didn't mention Gylfi to him!

This deal has been delayed for so long I'm beginning to think it might never happen.

Given he's amazeballs and there are people still at the club who Gylfi knows and can act as contacts for him, Adkins would be mental not to be interested. Even though Gylfi would have to be a looney to come here next season, when he could have his pick of PL clubs outside the top 6.

I 100% guarantee Gylfi will be a Reading player next season.

Of course he is. Why wouldn't he want to swap a starting place in a top 5 Premiership Club for a newly relegated Championship Club.

Silly me.

LOOK I know it might seem a long shot but Adkins wants him, gauranteed. It comes down to whether Anton is going to pay up the £18m that Spurs want (I have a friend that works for spurs).

Could still be happening, watch this space.

Please stop doing this to me. I love Gylfi too much to discard this.

Heres to another Summer of staring at HobNob every day while FatMike teases us with more made up bullshit.

Thought it was time Gylfi appeared at the top of our Rumours and Gossip column, for no reason other than that he's Gylfi, so he always does. It's EERILY quiet regarding his future at Spurs at the moment don't you think. Surely.........

I've heard a rumour that he only left because he'd had a falling out with Simon Church and they couldn't stand each other any more. Proper clawing each other's eyes out and looks that could kill. THe real reason the deal to bring him back in January failed wasn't at Spurs end with not being able to bring in that other chap. But it was because we couldn't shift Chuch.

Now Church has been released it's an absolute done deal. The paperwork was all signed in January. £12m deal goes through on 1 July.

My mate who works at the ticket office says he bumped into Anton this week, and he said Spurs have accepted a bid, Gylfi is coming down on Friday to discuss terms.
