My gut feeling re this is to be very thankful.

We have already had our fingers burned with Pog and frankly from what I have seen Drenthe is going to be another expensive flop (really happy if he proves me wrong). I would much rather we bought in younger players with potential than over the hill has beens who take a lot in wages and just add very little to the squad.

I've always thought that Drenthe looks constantly lively, and one of the reasons we lacked creativity was his subbing on Sunday.
