Given the new owners, I'd say Curbishley or Hoddle.

On a serious note Curbishly. On a less serious note Roberts and Leigertwood joint player-managers.

Me. I'll do it. If I get the job I will guide us to promotion and tell you an amusing anecdote about a night out on the pi$$ with Jasper Carrott.

If Anton is making the decision the short list would be Guardiola, Advocaat and Hiddink. If Madejski is choosing the short list it would be Gibbs, Murty and Mark Bartley (manager of Reading Town)

I see a bit of Exeter City living down here and I have to say, in spite of a poor season, Paul Tisdale teams do play it on the green bit and are not unattractive to watch. Sartorial elegance, mmmmmmmmm Chris Eubank meets Zandra Rhodes is about where he seems to be!

Was down in crediton last week and took a few mins to have a look at ECFC and passed the training ground on the way to Sidmouth.

The local rag say they are really struggling at mo as gate receipts are down from a break even of 5k.

Real shame.

We could do a lot worse than appoint Nicky Forster as his replacement.
