Not claiming some major scoop or that this is massive news, but Nigel Howe was over heard by my colleague yesterday in the the Madjeski Hotel saying that they were just tying up the final deal? Who knows who, what, when, or even if, but sounds as though something may happen in the next few days.

contractors to put in more bicycle parking outside the Mad Stad; new sausage vendors to be allowed to sell outside the East Stand as well as the West; additional bus routes on match day. Oh - and Gylfi.

Nigel Howe wasn't in Reading yesterday. He was working with Clearview yesterday.

Just passing on what I was told. He's not someone to make it up and has no reason to - he's not even interested in football. He may possibly have got the wrong name, but it was some club big wig.

If he's not interested in football or Reading FC for that matter, how did he 'know' who the "big wig" was?

Honestly you lot I am so not interested in scoring any points here. I am just telling you what he commented on to me as he knows I'm interested. He said the Chairman and I said but that's John Madejski. do you mean the Chief exec Nigel Howe and he said yes, him, really nice guy. But if you say Nigel Howe wasn't in Reading yesterday then I take your word for it and he has obviously got the wrong bloke. Jeez guys, sorry I spoke

Well neither of you know much about the club then. Nicky Hammond handles transfers, not Nigel Howe. Apart from the fact I confirmed Howe wasn't at the club yesterday, I can't envisage why the Chief Exec would be sat in the hotel discussing how close we are to a transfer.

Jeez guys you're all so aggressive on this board. I am just passing on a bit of info from a decent guy who thought I might be interested. And I'm sure all the directors , chairmen and board members etc are up to speed with what's going on regarding transfers. Nicky Hammond doesn't operate alone

If the club did have money to spend, it would be so easy to go and get Sharp and Becchio.

games.

Where do you imagine that has gone? Trust me, we won't see that being spent on players.

Samuelson gave it to Anton and told him the club and fans did a whip round to celebrate the birth of Anton Jnr, at least that's what the books say.

Why the hell are we not signing players like this on loan!!! he is the perfect striking option; tall, quick and skill full and can score goals at any level.
Good to see the Doncaster are showing more ambition than us
