Right - Dave-Royal now blocked. Possibly the same dick who bored me senseless with unfunny posts trying to be Yoda.

Half way through the transfer window, apparantly takeover agreed in principle, and no sign of any new signings.. We need 2/3 minimum if we want to get into the play offs. Can see it being another typical Reading transfer window ending in disappointment.

You're not aware of the "substantial" bid we've put in for Hobbs then? And there is no apparent takeover agreed in principle, it's all rumour at this stage.

So Hobbs aandSharp as our targets? Pretty ideal targets. No sign of anyone going yet?

If we get Hobbs I can see Forest retali8ing by coming in for Morrison. Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves is his favourite film and Billy Davies once rescued him from a burning building, so there is a connection.

You mean the `600k` bid we have put in for an injured Centre half that we have about a minimal chance of signing?

I fear this could turn into yet another January transfer window where 'subtantial bids' are made but the players we need aren't signed.

But then when you consider the type of player we need, its the type of player that all clubs want. And if I was a player looking to leave a club at the lower end of the premiership, QPR, Leicester, Derby and Forrest are probably all more attractive clubs st the moment, than we are.

I wouldn't blame the board if we didn't sign anyone, we're just competing with higher-performing clubs, for players.
