Royal Rother So you want our best player to go? How odd.

Wait a minute - someone said that we'd sold our best player last week

If Everton have had their Nigerian winger's work permit turned down, it might mean they'll be back for Hunt.

SSN reckon we've just turned down a £3.5 million bid.

Everton £3.5 bid for hunt rejected

by wallyroyal » 01 Sep 2008 19:27

Apparently, Everton's 3.5mil bid was rejected just minutes ago but still plenty of time to go. Be a shame for him to move as he played well on saturday. Also, they still think Kevin Doyle will move to Aston Villa even though shorey thinks he won't:http://www.goal.com/en/Articolo.aspx?ContenutoId=836482

£5m clause in his contract apparently so could well happen if they come back with that.

The outcome of the Everton interest in Stephen Hunt will once and for all put some belief and understanding to the chairmans often used words " this shows the ambition of the club" I await with interest.
