firstdivision SSN have just reported that they have received a text from Reading FC saying that they have closed all transfer activity now.
Nothing is certain until the clock strikes 12, but it is reassuring. Well until the January window

Do what? I didn't hear that?
It is very exciting isn't it? Makes watching SSN almost interesting for more than just the 15 minutes. Would be nice if they were talking about other clubs outside of Manchester for more than 20 seconds though.

John 3:16 Ok, just heard it. But that doesn't make it so. Reading are the masters of bull remember.

The grey haired guy read it from his mobile - text straight from the club. If we have kept Doyle and SHunt then we have pulled off a coup as a club, and both are the kind of characters who will still put in 100%. If it stays this way, I will be well pleased and looking forwards to more games like last week

winchester_royal Funny how a couple of days ago everyone was unbearably pessimistic coz we weren't signing anyone.
And now everyone is nice and optimistic because noone is leaving.
Amazing what a 4-2 win can do...

Indecisive Dave Or just the relief of holding onto two of the best players outside the Premiership that we could well have lost and struggled to replace with suitable quality.
