Rumour - Gary Hooper
Looks like he is off to Hull or Norwich as we are not even mentioned as contenders in papers or websites these days.
Seems that bloody Harry is going to snatch him for £5m! Why can't we go for that? Maybe he does not want to work for NA again or is it the London thing?

Maybe we'd offer the fee, but aren't willing to offer stupid wages, which would be totally in character for QPR.
Or maybe we realised QPR were interested and decided he must be a bad apple or physically shot... that's mostly what they sign isn't it?

Any basis for that belief apart from his past with NA? Prefer him over Austin and more so than

Why sign for Queens of the Park Rangers? Surely Hooper doesn't want to be a Championship player permanently.

Reports say that Norwich have made a £4m " take-it-or-leave-it" offer to Celtic and want an answer today...

More general rather than just about Hooper, but does anyone know whether Hammond and AZ are on this little sojourn to Portugal? AZ was definitely last year, and whilst it's a bit early, haven't heard any mention of either so far.
