tidus_mi2 Now according to JLow, 6pt deduction expected this week, he's been told this from various sources.

Did he even have sources?

Paul Ince probably

LOL

Don’t people just keep saying expected this week week after week so in the end they will be right?

Exactly what Earnshaw said at the Chronicle last week, they are both useless and have no contacts

I have heard some rumours that the journos are less than happy with the accuracy of information that PInce has been giving them off the record.

Does anybody really care about the ‘journos’ and their opinions?

Surely it’s their job to come up with an accurate storyline? They haven’t….lol lol

FWIW One thing Low said was it was a straight 6 points and no further monitoring/transfer embargo next season

Only a useful punishment if we stay up. If we go down, even no embargo would limit on what we can do we'd only be able to spend 60% of turnover on wages.

But everyone is in the same boat, we have an excellent Academy with a lot of players with potential, and it'd mean we'd be in an excellent state if we got promoted.

That's 13 Academy players around the fringes of the first team.

If past record is anything to go by they’ll soon be playing elsewhere week in week out for teams higher than us in the pyramid.

And we’ll have received five pence halfpenny in transfer fees for them.

We'd also have exemptions for any players signed before September 2022 who were signed to a minimum 3 year deal - may explain the length of some of the deals especially for those players who are on the older side. So wages would be capped at 60% of turnover plus the exemptions.

Turnover is also based on the last available figures I believe, so likely we will have one of the bigger wage budgets at L1 level as a result.

Given this is now about the 7th deadline for hearing, I'll only believe it when I see it.

JLow is an awful excuse for a journalist, i wonder who these multiple sources are? the same ones that said it was coming last Friday perhaps?
He should stick to publishing his boyfriend David Prutton`s pre-match predictions every single sodding week.

Can we get a little bit of respect for the journos now given that PInce seemed to be clueless himself and they were right that the deduction was coming.

We've been hit with another charge from EFL for "Non-Payment of Loan Wages"

Reckon this must be to do with the "must play when fit" clauses. Maybe a debate as to what constitutes fit and available.
