Yakubu has scored 17 goals this season (which is 4th equal with Adebayor & Clint Dempsey )... and is now a championship player, methinks he may be more affordable as well, in addition a deal hasn't been agreed between Spurts & Shitty for Adebayor so if that doesn't come to fruition he may well start to get more time on the pitch next season. I think the Yak may be a better option
