Barry the bird boggler 32 year old Croatian international, 6 foot 1. Scored 5 in 23 for Fulham last season and 38 in 98 games for Hamburg over the 4 season before that.
Previous to that; 13 in 28 for Borussia Dortmund, 38 in 72 for Basel and 30 in 114 for Grasshoppers. Also played for Baden
Would seem to me the boy has goals in him....

Seem to remember we said that about someone else who'd scored half a dozen goals for Fulham at the end of the previous season.

Pog scored a hat-trick EARLY in his Fulham career, then just 3 goals in the rest of his season

Snowball Pog scored 1-1-3 goals in his first 3 appearances (235 minutes) = a goal every 57 minutes
He then scored 1 goal in the next 9 appearances (728 minutes) = a goal every 728 minutes (13 times worse)
I seem to remember hearing that he often starts with a bang at clubs then fades
2 in his first 5 Prem games for RFC (381 minutes)
then 6 blanks
then 3 goals in 3 games (280 minutes)
then zero goals in 12 appearances (893 minutes)
In the season before Fulham he got 5 goals for Stuttgart in his first 6 games, then 3 from 20 in the rest of the season
and he got just 1 goal in 14 appearances (567 minutes) for Stuttgart before he went to Fulham
he is clearly a striker who goes on long barren runs

The two players quoted by Nigel Adkins as joining the club are firstly as expected Joseph Akpala, but additonally Liam Bridcutt who is the 'close to home' player that Adkins referred to. Both deals are expected to be completed over the weekend with the double announcement next week.

GSY-Royal £20 says that we are linked with Bridcutt every summer for the next three years, and we never sign him.
Being born in Reading doesn't mean you are going to sign for Reading...
