pea Mentioned this somewhere a month or two ago. This rumours been around a while, we've had scouts watch him and he's one of a number of centre backs we've looked at alongside that Torquay one whose name I can remember right now and obviously Helguson who we had on trial here. Wouldn't have thought we'd make a move until summer when ingimarsson will probably retire and Zurab might leave.

dobcheck This is what i was told by a long time Swindon season ticket holder today. Morrison only started getting in the team this season as they sold the club captain Greer to Brighton. They rate their other centre back Cuthbert a lot higher and say Morrison is prone to regular mistakes and if they lose Morrison they can replace him easily but if they lose Austin, Division 4 here we come!
Obvioulsy that is just one fans opinion and you would certainly think our scouts should/do know a lot more about what they are looking for than a fan.

Swindon Town have agreed to sell defender Sean Morrison to Reading, BBC Wiltshire understands.
The 20-year-old is set to formally join the Championship side next week.
It is understood Morrison has exercised a release-clause in his contract at the County Ground triggered by Reading offering enough money.
The Plymouth-born central defender, who joined from Argyle in 2007, has made 25 starts for The Robins this season, scoring five goals.
He had been linked in recent months with Newcastle, Sunderland and Queens Park Rovers, but no bids were made.
It is unlikely he will play for Swindon in Saturday's League One game against Yeovil.
