Cobi Can't be any worse than Simon Church and we hardly have a bulging transfer budget so why not? Many whined about Noel Hunt coming here from Scotland and barring his niggling injuries he proved a decent enough signing.
This is of course on the basis we don't go up.

Church will come good next season imo. N.Hunt hasn't done it for me. He works hard and isn't a bad finisher but lacks quality. You need the extra bit of quality if you want to be playing at the highest level and for me he hasn't shown that.

I've been thinking this. 2009-10 was very good for a kid. 12 goals in 27 (15)
With this season - - 4 in 16 (26) that's 16 goals in 43 (43) - - - about 50 x 90, or 1 goal in 3 games.
He's two years younger than Shane, who got 3 Prem goals and 9 Championship goals = 12 Goals in 25 (48) = 33 x 90
12 in 33 versus 16 in 50. That makes Shane a little better at the same age (but this season has been poor for Simon)
but Church, only 22 has room to mature and improve, just as Shane did.

Adam Rooney
Out of contract at Inverness, Rooney has had a fantastic season breaking the 20 goal barrier for the second successive season. Terry Butcher has gotten the best out of him and it remains to be seen if he will accept their offer of a new deal as talks continue. Has been linked with moves to Young Boys in Switzerland as well as Reading and Derby, I think he does go it will be back to the Championship. Reading would be a good choice given the work Brian McDermott has done on Shane Long.
Where will he be in August: Reading.
