RUMOUR - Joey Barton

by soggy biscuit » 14 May 2012 07:39

Rumours that his agent has already been offering him around at a cut price fee and Reading are one of the clubs to have shown an interest

Would be cheap and someone if his quality in the squad would give other players the kick up the backside that they sometimes need

..do you honestly see the club being associated with a ticking time bomb....??? ...BM wouldn't have him at club in a month of Sundays ...he's brought shame to every club he's been at...that doesn't exactly fit with the type of player BM is on the look out for ....

I'm not surprised at all that he is being touted around for cut- price money.
That, IMHO, is because his agent knows that his career in English pro football is hanging by a thread.

I suspect there will be no takers at all for this thug, and he will disappear off to some obscure club on the continent.
Good riddance.

NOT SURE IF SERIOUS

I'm sure his agent will not have much luck finding any club interested in his client this morning - 12 hours after throwing his little paddy and making himself look a complete tool

JB at Reading? Does that suggestion really warrant a response? If he was to move from QPR, I would expect him to hook up with Colin at Leeds.

"The head was never gone at any stage, once I'd been sent off, one of our players suggested I should try to take 1 of theirs with me..."

"..Never worked but god loves a trier. #reallynotbother #wearesafe"

No thanks

^ this

Can't see many PL teams taking him - he'll be banned for an as yet unknown (but possibly quite high) number of games at the start of the season anyway...

Even if this utter spacktard was a Saint, he still wouldn't come here. He left Newcastle wanting bigger wages and only QPR were foolish enough to offer it.

Weir thing is, I actually like Barton.

He is not as clever as he thinks he is, he's not as good a footballer as he thinks he is. But he truly is a trier! Sadly he can't keep his cool when provoked :(

Reading would never sign him. Never.

My favourite phrases from that 'letter' are "There's no I in team is there? But there's a f**king I in prick!" and "you play for a team that just survived relegation by an ant's penis". Quality.

He's being his usual twatty self on Twitter today:

@GaryLineker do u wanna go there publicly "Mr Squeaky Clean" ? Think u should have a look in that vast closet of skeltons before u respond.

@GaryLineker I know a lot about THAT side to u the people don't and won't bat an eye lid at exposing u. So mind ur manners Squeaky...

@GaryLineker now back under your stone you odious little toad...

Then why read his Twitter page? If some people stopped taking an interest and reading his comments then he really would be all alone. But if you keep reading them then of course he is going to keep courting publicity.
