Surely we need to evaluate more than one thread like this to be able to forecast their pointlessness? Do we know how many there have been? Can we benchmark their pointlessness against threads on this and other forums? I wouldn't like to think that subjectivity could influence our analysis...

Perhaps someone could provide a clean data set and keep it updated?
