Jay Boothroyd would be a good a signing. Much better than the Pog as he can hold the ball an link up play.

I thought that he was their best player yesterday.

No one from what I saw. I would look at people like Glen Murray who got in the PDA championship team of the year. We need players hungry for the Premier League not QPR has beens!

We do not need the wage bills that 99 per cent would ask for.

Not sure how much of a fire sale there will be at QPR, think it may involve a few (very few :D !!!) players being sold off to Premier League clubs that want them (e.g. Remy automatically springs to mind) followed by the removal of the corporate cheque book to start writing cheques for much of the dross to p*** off. There are far too many players at QPR on ridiculous wages to believe that they will be able to shift a large number on without some having their contracts paid. There is also the flip side that makes me question as to how many of their players we would actually want???!! This lot have proved that they can't or won't perform against Premier League opposition so what is going to make them 'up' for a Tuesday night trip to the Keepmoat? QPR's main problem could actually come from the fact that the real spine of the team who got them promoted (Hill and Derry) are knocking on a bit.

Zamora maybe, but he's probably on similar wages to Pog, and when you think about it, way past his best.

We've got to have some standards, surely?

Mackie, and thats about it. We can't afford anything near the ludicrous wages their first team are getting (and neither can they for much longer)

Absolutely. Not sure he's quite the standard we might be looking for though, and they'd be mad to let him go and keep the others. Most of the rest of them are either not good enough, or dicks we don't want poisoning our dressing room.

Zamora has an injury that needs an operation to rectify that will take him out for 10 months - sounds familiar? Harry R apparently hopes he'll put off operation till the end of next season when his contract expires anyway .... what would you do if you were Zamora?

Has FM2014 come out already? The money that QPR are rumoured to be paying is utterly ludicrous for the size of the club. They will suffer financially next season unless they can get rid but if a player is on 50k a week, why would he move to a club for half that?
