Bairdinho

Anyone think we should re-sign Chris Baird, especially since he has put in a shift at left back for west brom this season.
Could be a useful experienced player, and as he was only here recently should know a lot of the players.

CM is about the only position we don't need to focus on in the transfer market. If we are to buy a LB i would prefer we buy a specialist in that position.

If he's on a free then definitely, can play anywhere in defence and provide midfield cover.

If Karacan turns down his contract we could be going into the season with just Williams, Norwood and Akpan as our senior options. Tshibola and especially Kuhl are very good prospects but with Williams injury record, Clarke not being Norwoods biggest fan and Akpan, well, being Akpan, I'd say Baird would be a good player to bring in.

I'm expecting us to do something in the midfield, probably another loan player from Chelsea, but if we don't the above is lightweight IMO.

And yet, sadly, still stronger than goalkeeper, centreback, left back, left wing and striker.

Ok so I get they are one of the biggest teams in the division but surely they must even be pushing FFP the way they're going?

They won't, because Pearce plays for them.
