MoorgateRoyal He hasn't got the worst scoring record in the MLS and is at a good age to keep improving.
He could be a decent signing, but not one that can slot straight into the team and start scoring right away.

So far in the current MLS season, Zardes has five goals in 19 league games, with Galaxy sitting top of the Western Conference table. He made his debut for the USA national team back in January, and has gone on to earn 13 caps, scoring twice.

Yeah but he's great on FIFA so this must be a great signing.

In what way is Reading better to play for than Brighton? Brighton in easily in the top 3 nicest places to live in the country, have probably the nicest stadium in the division and champions league level facilities, and they're currently top of the league in the same league as Reading.

P!ssed Off Landon Donovan retired at the end of last season after chipping in with 15 assists.
Galaxy also traded away another important creative midfielder (11 assists) to make room for Gerrard who only arrived midseason.
Perhaps that is why he's gone from 17 in 31 (2014) to 5 in 21 (2015).
This season shows he's not much good at creating his own chances.
But we're after a speedy finisher, and last season shows he is that.
