JASON CUMMINGS will be watched by a trio of English clubs in today’s titanic top-of-the-table Championship clash at Ibrox.

Wolves, Reading and Rotherham are all sending scouts to run the rule over the Hibs star as the battle for his signature hots up.

Rotherham gaffer Neil Redfearn has already admitted his interest in the 20-year-old and the Millers have asked the Edinburgh club to be kept informed of any developments.

Redfearn said: “Jason Cummings is someone that is doing really, really well and I wouldn’t deny that we have got interest in someone like that.”

But they face a fight with English Championship rivals Wolves and Reading who will step up their interest by sending representatives to Glasgow this afternoon.

Cummings scored when Hibs defeated Rangers at the start of last month and will once again be a key player against the Light Blues when the Scotland Under-21 man will be watched closely by his admirers.

The striker’s deal at Easter Road runs until 2017 and Alan Stubbs said he is relaxed about the situation despite the speculation - Leeds United and Bournemouth have also been linked with Cummings - surrounding the player.

Stubbs said recently of the 14-goal hitman: “We are relaxed with it all. If he keeps scoring goals, we know there’s going to be interest in him at a high level.”

Well we've got a fair few forwards and only one specialist right back, so I'm with CR on this one, regardless of how good he is.
