Just seen that we after Adam Reach. He's spent the season on loan at Preston and done well by all accounts. Preston are in talks with Middlesbrough over a permanent transfer. He's unwanted at Middlesbrough following their promotion.

He's a left winger, but can also fill in at left back.

Never heard of him. I'd also prefer Fosu to get a chance, but with two wingers coming in (Beerens medical today), it's looking less and less likely. It seems Reach can play left back, but is mainly left wing and also played a no. 10 role.

Did well for a short time at left-back but he really needs to be pushed back up the field to where he's most comfortable. He's a got a decent cross on him and we need that delviery. He's wasted in defence.

Apparently not. Beerens all set to sign pending medical.

The Reach link is still in early stages, apparently Reading, Preston, Wolves & Sheff Weds have enquired. Boro & Karanka still unsure whether to let him go. Played and scored in preseason game last week.

He's 23 and scored 10 goals in 98 Championship appearances for Middlesbrough and Preston (that's 73 apps and 6 goals in the last two seasons).

For the record Reach is a left winger while Beerens is primarily a right winger who can play on the left as well.

If we landed him it's going to be a challenge for the management team to keep all these strikers and midfielders happy so would presume we're going to start selling the likes of McCleary and Norwood and Williams etc. before too long.
