I'd play with passion and effort but pretty sure I ain't playing any time soon. To me Williams is a slightly upmarket Andy Hughes, all effort no end product with the odd decent goal as redemption.

And to be fair to Williams he is out of contract in the summer and we may not offer him another one. If his agent is looking at his options that seems fair enough. Even if he is offered a new deal he's under no obligation to take it. He may fancy playing in the MLS, or going back to Germany.
He may be better discussing it on the phone rather than Twitter, but these players are here because we pay them to be, not because it's some kind of vocation.
